Cover the Homeless Ministry is a non-profit charitable organization 501(c)3, which reaches out to the homeless, by walking hand in hand with those in need as they go through the stages of personal recovery and restoration. The organization works to establish a new sense of hope for those in their darkest hours, and helps give individuals the strength and resources to "begin again." Cover the Homeless Ministry works to establish contact with the individual's immediate family, enlist rehabilitation from substance abuse through detoxification, provide those in need with counseling referrals for Health Services, find options for training and job placement, and provide shelter for homeless individuals. Additionally, Cover the Homeless focuses on establishing a message of love and understanding through the providing of blankets, food, clothing, and transportation.
